Since its introduction in 2016, our Yossi Dan has been leading the delegation of Israeli startups at VivaTech Paris tech conference. Organized around open innovation challenges, the big pavilion brands invite hundreds of startups every year to take part.
In 2021, we had to manage a hybrid event while most of the Israeli Founders were virtually connected to us and the big corporations, and indeed we’ve overcome and optimized the impact!
Thanks to Daniel Rouach & Gilles Gouteux for the #vivatech2021 side event gathering at ESCP Business School, to Vincent Viollain and Yaron Schrotter for their year-after-year support and participation, to Christian Pineau, Mathieu Hamel and Mohamed Tahiri for having shared with Marie Laloux and us your views about the Startup Valleys of the world, and to the one and only André Dan, Executive MBA, HEC Paris.
We wish to also thank the 15+ top executives of the 11 French global companies in VivaTech who met and shared information with our delegation: Air Liquide, BNP Paribas, Bouygues Group, EDF, Le Groupe La Poste, ENGIE, Orange, Renault Group, Sanofi, Veolia and Invest in Provence by Provence Promotion, as well as to Maurice Levy for our interview and next rendez-vous at DLDTelAviv event with Yossi Vardi.
We wish to also thank the 36 Israeli founders who participated, including the 2 Israeli unicorns Moovit and Similarweb that joined us for empowering the next generation!
Although this hybrid-model of meetings with the delegation went well, we do hope to return to full face-to-face mode next year, in 2022.

Following the event, France Ambassador in Israel Eric Danon just shared that last month political relationship between the 2 countries was more fruitful than during the whole 3 last years. That is a challenge we are ready for, especially after meeting in Paris both old and new friends who will contribute, such as: Georges FISCHER, Joseph MACHIAH, Karine Berthier, Karine Riahi, Michael Saklad, Philippe EMSALEM, Stephane AMARGER and more.
